Was thinking about how they could extend a path out and run it along the lake, so that Pantherian isn't a dead end anymore. Rides-wise they have a lot of possibilities here, but as I'm looking at this I'm adverse to putting another coaster right over the lake again. Make Racer 75 running alongside the water a centerpiece like it was when the park opened.

Are you suggesting something similar to what I came up with where someone else suggested a bar/restaurant patio area, and I suggested placement close to where Anaconda's station was for a similar pass-through?

In reality, that doesn't change that it's still a dead-end though it'll become shorter of one.

There's a lot you can do with those paths connected. Restaurant there is a good idea, I could also see a flat going there. And then there's the land where Anaconda's lift was. Maybe ideally the flat would be where Anaconda's station is, and the restaurant will be where the lift was. Either one could work.

And I wouldn't consider that a dead end, because you can walk past the lake to Pantherian then loop back around Flight of Fear without back tracking.

You still have to turn around. Thats a dead end. Adding a path 20ft over that connects to the same end point doesnt fix anything. It saves no time.

Fixing the dead end problem would be adding a path behind pantherian to candy apple or something

Ah I’m thinking more within the scope of just Jungle-X. It’d make the area flow a lot better imo

Yeah, the challenge is if they were to connect a path around the lake to remove the dead end, where would it go?

The South and West edges are taken by the service road to BLSC and presumably the northern parts of Soak City (not sure if they also run delivery vehicles through there as well).

So they'd have to probably go over the water for a bit plus somehow intersect the service road - but even then, what would it connect to unless it becomes another entrance to Soak City?

Not saying it would ever work but just thats the only way to do it. Itll never happen and would not be worth it at all

I hate to say it but the area looks so much better without it. Especially 305’s plaza. And 305 looks so good on its own in the skyline from CAG.
As much as I loved Anaconda, and how photogenic it was, its unpainted track would have really stuck out compared to every other part of Jungle X this year. Definitely would have been cheaper to repaint it than demo it, but of course we know it wasn’t actually about the paint job ha.

I do think the view from the back of Victoria’s and the water park will be far worse with it missing though.

Does it look like they’re going to keep the lake?
There is construction fence all around it and they had staff members insuring that no one wondered over that way the only view I had through the fence was around the station area an the slope blocked the lake so I can't say what the status of the lake is
