I would 3rd this. Would be nice to see pictures without having to search through pages and pages of posts.

Could be a good way to organize photos of defunct rides, too. I may have a "new" Drachen Fire photo or two to contribute to such a gallery, provided I can find them in the appropriate old-fashioned photo album in the darkest recesses of my basement.

Alp's opening spring... I had just ridden Montu a couple of weeks prior to this, and couldn't believe the power of both Busch inverts. Really different rides, each terrific in their own way. At the time, with Raptor having been the biggest invert before Montu and then Alp hitting 195' from highest to lowest point, it was just stunning to behold what B&M had achieved. Nobody else was capable of it.

Alp's swoop out of the MCBR was one of my favorite moments, and the vid shows exactly why. The last two inversions were so powerful. The helix was faster too, of course, but still lost steam pretty rapidly as you climbed out of it. B&M wrung every practical inch out of that first hill and the terrain.

Opening day media footage here showing brief interviews with Madonna's BFF Debi Mazar and some of the Radio City Rockettes.

A friend in ride ops confirmed that it was open as a replacement for Griffin which was being cranky last night. I am actually impressed that they opened a replacement that late in the night especially with as lighter crowd.
