Yeah, that's one of those "worth the sacrifice" imo.If we could get a giga alpenfury with most inversions in the world that'd be awesome
Doubtful-- unless Premier really upped their game, the coaster is more gimmick than great ride.Any shot this takes Fury’s place on the golden tickets?
Surprised they’re not doing a media day first, but maybe they feel they’ve lost too much time.
They will be doing a media day for this one, although the guest list will be extremely select. Most of the grassroots social media enthusiasts that typically get invited to these kinds of things have been looked over this time, in favor of bigger out-of-town outlets like CoasterForce or similar caliber. The local media like CBC and BlogTO will have reps as will the accused groomer enthusiast. If I had to speculate, the guest list has been fine tuned with capacity in mind, POV filming in mind, and the usual suspects having higher accessibility (regular visits with FLP) to the coaster anyways. They never do media days there, at least, not like the ones you see stateside. Most they will do is let some local media come before 9 am and ride with the PR person and talk about it. Thats it.
Personally, those unprofessional thoosies masquerading as media will not be missed at those events. They do nothing except get in the way of people doing actual jobs, and media events like these are the only way industry where glorified fans get that level of complimentary accessThey will be doing a media day for this one, although the guest list will be extremely select. In a wonkier (and perhaps related) PR move, the 9am opening day passholder preview was cut a couple hours after the announcement, which for better or worse means that it's going to be a free for all. Nobody will have been on that ride, nobody will have a head start, nobody will have a review out at that time. Just the maniacal crowds waiting for the rope to drop on one open coaster. And I will be right there at the front of it.
