It sounds... mediocre. Hell of a lot better than American Jukebox, but also doesn't sound even remotely inspired or creative. We'll see what they put together.

It definitely doesn't fit with the Victorian-era vibes, but few things in the park respect timeline right now unfortunately. Especially for an entirely enclosed entertainment product, I can't complain about that too terribly much at this point probably. More concerned about the products being good at this point than I am with fine-tuning the thematic consistency because, frankly, BGW had been struggling a lot on the "at least make it good" front for a bit there with their entertainment.

I won't be there Friday when the show premieres so if anyone can see it and review it that would be lovely. As for the show itself, I hope that it's better than the description says but l wouldn't be surprised if it ends up like "Britmania" back in 2017, better than "London Rocks!" but not by much.

I saw the first show and it was very cheesy, but it was still pretty fun. One thing that I found interesting was that in the taxi car scene the driver was sitting on the wrong side given that it’s in the UK. They have a QR code in the show with a playlist that supposedly includes the original number in the show, but I looked at the playlist and it doesn’t look like it’s there yet.

It’s probably the cheesiest show since London Rocks, but it’s definitely better than London Rocks. It’s a little bit unique compared to the shows since LR, because there is actually a little bit of a story. The story seems to have a few plot holes, but at least it’s entertaining. The original song was also pretty good.

Sorry for the double post. I just found out that the show‘s original song is on Apple Music.

After hearing the original song that was released online it isn't that bad really, if a tiny bit generic. I'll keep my expectations low until I see the show itself, but it is a good sign that it is better than "London Rocks!" and "American Jukebox: Summer Remix". Good lord, we don't need to see that ever again.

I thought the taxi was in america because she is flying to the UK? They even show airport signs that say newport news.

I saw this yesterday, thank goodness because 30 minutes in the air condition yesterday enabled me to recover enough to go enjoy the park a little longer. The fact that the main character is on her phone during a large portion of the show and they only played clips of songs instead of entire songs, just made me feel like we were watching her scroll through short form videos for 25 minutes. Thank goodness there was a little story to keep me entertained. My kid finally finishes school this week, I'll see what he thinks of it later in the summer.

There was a picture I saw of the showtimes sign being up at the Globe Theater, and I think it looks very nice. Much more pleasant to look at than the horrific assault on the eyes that London Rocks was.
