I still can't believe KD got away with that frog holding a cigar. Some mommy bloggers aren't going to appreciate that!
 
I wonder what was going on with Hurler, that's about the only thing I didn't see a picture of.(Along with the Volcano queue, and the renovated fountains)
 
Is Volcano even open yet?

I really hope KD replaces that sign with something resembling the original entrance for next year. It's probably wishful thinking at this point, but it would be amazing.
 
1 minute, 45 seconds in. That's when the singing starts. Does the song sound familiar?

It's a reworded version of the lyrics "Hello to Yogi, hello to Boo-Boo, hello to Scooby-Doo! Barney and Fred say hi..." sung by the mushrooms in 1976 as featured in the movie Rollercoaster. Originally a parody of the song "Hello! Ma Baby" from the late 1800's, they seem to have re-parodied that song by replacing the Hanna Barbera references with Peanuts references.

+1 Kings Dominion! That's really a super special (and clever) gem that I was secretly hoping they'd do.

It's official, the Singing Mushrooms are now my favorite music group. I'm serious, I think I watched that video at least 6 times now.

It should also be noted that a large shrubbery bed was planted behind the singing mushrooms if you haven't noticed.
 
Oh I have no doubt that's true, I'm just saying until then, the Singing Mushrooms are my absolute favorite. The only thing I'm sad about is how short the act is, hopefully they'll extend the acts, because No one will be able to get enough of these things! Was that video a full act?
 
So really that sign is kind of misleading. The sign implies that the mushrooms sing for twenty minutes, and "rest" for a few before another twenty minute cycle. At least it's a cute phrase. :p

I thought the same, but now that I know the times, it doesn't matter to me. They have an attendant out giving a nice background of them all and she was telling people as they passed when to expect them to perform again.

Oh wow, that's pretty awesome. I guess that could be a pretty boring job, but I hope this is permanent. It would definitely make the mushrooms even greater of an attraction.

The new frog is much less scary-looking than the old one. On the other hand, his voice gives him that "I will eat your children!" feel. :p
