Not sure if anyone else noticed but Busch Gardens wasn't the only park to get reduced hours. Water Country USA's summer hours have changed similarly to longer hours on the weekends, shorter during the week days.

Hours are not any longer on the weekends in the summer than they have been in recent past for both parks.

Is Pass holder preview day confirmed yet for 3/21? Just trying to make plans and get a hotel room.

Anyone know if they will be open on 3/22 also? We went for the weekend and the park was dead the day after passmember preview day. I'd stay the extra day if they are open both days.

Thanks!

No, the park is not open the day after pass member preview day this year, sadly. The official "Opening Day" will not be until the Friday after Pass Member Preview day, March 27th.

Hmm, I live 240 miles away, not worth the trip down and another reason not to renew my passes.

Thanks for the response.

I'm suspicious of the new terminology, "Member Day." It seems a bit vague. One wonders if that is intentional.

Well lots of things have been given different names over the years. I'm hoping that this is the case.

So... what's busier, Pass Member Preview day or opening day? Debating if I want to go down for the one day or the following weekend for two days..

I was at last year's preview day, the traffic to get in the lot stretched over I-64 at 10am. So glad I knew to go in the employee entrance. :)
