PETA making fools of themselves? When do they ever do that?

I don't see why anyone would have a problem with a Running of the Bulls theme. People are basically the only things that are harmed in that event. Besides, it's essentially the theme behind Raging Bull at SFGAm, with their website saying something along the lines of, "No need to go to Spain to run with the bulls, just come to Southwest Territory." Of course the real theme of the ride is that a bull somehow forced an entire Spanish mission into building a new town, or something that makes no sense in the context of the ride and life in general, but BGW would definitely create a better theme.

Ok, so I was wrong, sue me. BUT, the thing about adding a Spain hamlet, was my main point that Spain has no real stereotypical architecture style. I mean, if you're the casual tourist, when you think of Spain, what do you think of? Most likely nothing. In fact some people don't even know that people there speak Spanish. Also, (in another attempt to prove my point that'll likely be proven wrong) almost all of the countries located inside the park have had some affect on Virginian culture and history. As far as I can remember, Spain has had very little impact on VA's history. I'm no historian, however.

Considering Wikipedia has a lengthy article on Spanish architecture with a lot of neat pictures, I'm sure there is some neat things BGW could pull if a Spanish hamlet ever came to existence.

Also, This thread was originally made about a rumored coaster for 2014 but has constantly been associated with a Spanish hamlet which is either rumored or just the wild dreams of the members of this forum. (I'm not entirely sure.)

Can we please get a separate "Spain Country/Hamlet" thread made in the Rumors or Everything Else section of the forums in order to keep the topics of threads in check?

Germany, Italy, and Ireland all had about the same impact on Virginia as Spain. There's also the fact that Spain discovered America. Spain has been rumored for YEARS. While I'd rather see an Eastern Europe country in the park, Russia anyone?, Spain is more likely.

I think every year since Ireland came in there has been talk about a new country either Spain or Greece. They were suposed to go either where Sesame Streetis or where Festhaus Park is. Now I'm not sure where they would put another country. We will never know if there are any plans until it comes.

Hope I'm not bursting anyones hope bubble here, but there will not be a 2014 coaster or new country. This thread will probably be closed soon.

Two (or three for Grover and BBW) years after each coaster something of at least a decent size opened.

Grover will be VerboLten
Loch Ness was preceded by Italy-San Marco
Big Bad Wolf was Festa Italia
Drachen Fire was Land of the Dragons
Alpie was Apollo
Griffon was Forest of Fun
There is still wiggle room for something larger than a flat ride. Don't give up hope, Just don't expect a coaster :)

I hope everyone realizes all the major additions to have been at random times with real no rhyme or reason. Sure some rollercoasters had a very short period between openings, yet there were times when not much of anything was added. So just judging on what we have gotten/ are getting, I wouldnt expect much for awhile. Mach tower, and now 2012 coaster. Sure, they could surprise us with another coaster, do I see it happening? No.

I hope they take the money for the next investment and use it revive the park as a whole. Maybe re-theme/update current countries and add a flat or two. I feel that would be the best thing to do, this would allow them to ride the wave of the new coaster/ Mach tower for awhile, and also possibly allow for an actual ground breaking technology for a coaster to emerge, and then invest in that.

Essentially. But maybe some actual REAL first. I want to see a real game changer. Wing riders really don't do it for me...

I mean in all reality, sitting on the outside of griffon would give you the same effect. Its just a marketing thing. I know someone has to be working on something real. I really want to see something to hug the elevation of the Rhine. I feel that would give a great effect.
