Scotland is the hilliest developed area in the park... I have seen the area you were talking about Griffon and I am certain scotland's river hill pwns it easily. Even the hill dropping from dinoland to the river is nasty.

In all seriousness though I think you guys are overlooking the horse stables behind Italy. That has been rather undeveloped and shouldn't take major work to get new rides in there. Though I would be a bit sad if they went this route and moved the Clydesdales somewhere else...

Other than Drachen Fire's old spot, the horse stables occupy the only area in the park large enough to build a roller coaster.

Just saying, the stables aren't just for the horses. They also have sheep, the dalmatians every once in a while and I believe they had a goat at one point last year.

Oh my gosh...now we care about sheep!? (For the record I'm okay with the dalmation)

If it were up to me I'd move those horsies to the boneyard if they had to stay for some strange legal reason and just out of the park all together if there wasn't. Though I am 100% fine with the Scotland stable.

It is the most logical place for expansion.

Oh, clearly it isn't large enough. I vote for relocating them. but honestly, if they can't, give me a good flat there instead. blah blah blah there's no room for a line blah blah i can dream blah

This is not on topic. Please stay on topic. If you want to talk about stuff, there's an area for that.

EDIT: Moved useless posts to Pointless Discussions.

my b swift... I was thinking of the perfect roller coaster today: 500+ ft tall, longest coaster in the world, fastest coaster, 10 overbanked turns... basiclly, top 5 coasters in the world put together

Top 5 coaster in the world mixed together =/= world's greatest coaster.... I find over banks a snoozefest when they are overused. 500 ft tall would be cause for the train to go more than 150 mph, not exactly a good thing...

Good thing no, It's GREAT!!! (Just REALLY gradual leveling out so we don't run into the problem that KD run into with I 305)

This reminds me of my "replace the railroad with a coaster around the perimeter of the park" idea....which I think is brilliant.

Or build the coaster over the railroad

Hmmm if the rumors of the 2012 coaster are accurate, wouldn't that add another major ride to their over all stable of activities? Perhaps 2013 will be more of a season of upgrades than a major expansion or ride addition. Perhaps a complete over haul like they did when they changed Hastings to Ireland?
