Wow that Sky Roller looks intense! If they don't put a new ride in for 2013 they definitely should revamp DarKastle and Pompeii. DarKastle can be fun but after riding The Amazing Spiderman Ride at Islands of Adventure it seems really lame. They need to make the cars movements more realistic instead of just gliding from screen to screen. Also, this year, out of the multiple times I've ridden it, I have yet to ride it with everything going smoothly. Its gone way downhill. Pompeii could use so really cool upgrades on the inside portion.

Welcome and love the name. I think Darkastle should be changed back to it's original inception. The two times I rode it this year there were problems with the effects, 3D, lighting, and motions of the sleigh.

2013 is also the 35th anniversary of Loch Ness Monster. Maybe we could see new trains? Returned tunnel effects? Maybe some historical stuff? Return of Little Nessie? Reptile exhibit? Meet and Greet with Nessie? I'm getting my hopes up for those things. The least they could do is acknowledge her birthday, tho.

^They should put gators in the Rhine to celebrate the anniversary. :p

That is an interesting idea to revamp the ride, I wonder if BGW cares about the fandom of the ride that much.

They did it with BBW...
Six Flags did it with Great American Scream Machine...
Cedar Fair didn't do it with Blue Streak...
They did it for Apollo's Tenth...
Dorney did it for Steel Force and they tightened up the brake run...

Many possibilities. But I want the original trains, people complain about the trains but they are very, very comfy for arrow trains.

Please pardon, but what effects were in the tunnel, and who/what was Little Nessie?

^ Tunnel Effects: Fog, strobes, and a light-up Loch Ness Monster
Little Nessie was a kiddy coaster themed to the Loch Ness Monster and located in the same general area.

The park will not return strobe effects to Nessie's cave as they are known to cause seizures for people who suffer from photosensitive epilepsy. I'd love to see it again but unfortunately it will never happen.

Wouldn't the on-ride photo flashes be able to trigger seizures also?

They aren't prolonged enough to trigger seizures. Especially outside where the light isn't contained in a dark space like Nessie's cave.

Yeah, the biggest thing i want is fog back on the rides. Like dark kastle, Pompeii, and LNM.

Fog can get expensive unfortunatly. Next best option would be mist, which wouldn't work in darkcastle.

As for lnm, I honestly hope the would fill in the center with an animatronic Nessie.

Yeah, but in busch's eyes why spend all the money on an old attraction when they can spend millions on an attrcation thats 3 months late ( im looking at u mach tower :dodgy: )
