I assume you're talking about the security booth. It's very, very rarely used from what I've seen. Honestly, if you ever see it in use, it's probably a good indicator that you should just leave the park.
The end is kind of intimidating, Zachary. If that's in use, does that mean that there's a heightened risk of a fight or?

In the summer time and with a full queue house, a lot of people pass out down there. Sometimes security will be able to respond and call in first aid much faster than operators would be able to notice it. But also, yes it means it crazy crowded and having a security presence will reduce likelihood of line jumpers.

The restrains on Dominator are the deal-breaker for ranking it any higher than most do IMHO. Headbanging aside, they're surprisingly small, even in the larger seats. I've seen folks easily ride TT and then not be able to ride Dominator solely because of chest size. The dive loop is massive, the pacing is good, the second half has an interesting interlocking corkscrew (even thought that looks cooler than it rides), and the length is notable (as the longest floorless in the world), but the rest of it is quite pedestrian. I was fortunate enough to have a very smooth ride on it last weekend and could see how it could've been a much better coaster with just a few tweaks (restraints, jojo roll, better banking on the over-station turn, and something more than the lame helix at the end). Typical 2000's B&M.

Every element they have in common is better on Dominator. I do really like the dive loop with fire and the giant screw thing but it's not enough. Maybe if I'd hadn't ridden Dominator first and been used to float in the loop and air off the midcourse already those wouldn't be disappointing. Also can't give B&M credit for the props. I do really enjoy it though, they're great coasters. The train format is perhaps the best ever.
I agree about the vertical loop. Otherwise I disagree. Medusa's are better because there's less head banging. That alone makes them infinitely better. Plus Medusa certainly has much better scenery, effects and additional elements (and they are good).

I was riding Dominator last night around 5:15 or so, the ride was going fine until we got stopped on the mid course for about 20 minutes. Other train got stopped on the lift hill, is this more common for Dominator? I saw a post a couple messages above where the ride got stuck in the same spot and I also overheard someone saying this is the 2nd time it has happened to them.

I believe Dominator would greatly benefit from a systems upgrade. Most likely your issue was a ghost train. The train stopped on the lift is probably because the operators didn't notice the train stuck on the mid course. From my experience, if the train stopped on the mid course and operators weren't given a fault (an audible alarm triggers to board op when this occurs and also disables dispatch) when the train stopped. Then that usually means there was a ghost train on the block ahead.

But take that with a grain of salt because I'm not an operator anymore. I still stand that a systems upgrade would do wonders for Dominator.

There's a huge peeled spot right to the left of sitting on the brake run before the station, awful looking. Fixing such glaring issues doesn't mean they're repainting the whole thing.

Would like to see this painted and rethemed in a way that matches the rest of International street (a'la Griffon at Busch Gardens). A more subtle and cooler color scheme would go well here.

I sorta hope Dominator isn't getting paint this off-season. When Dominator gets paint, I hope it's part of a larger rebrand and retheme of the coaster and its plaza. It's such a glaring pain-point for the park right now aesthetics-wise. Feels like KD's 2025 plate is way too full to even consider the addition of a Dominator project right now though.

Very well stated. If they could take their time and do some thing to infill that path from Dominator around back to Boos up to Jungle X it would be really nice.
