Hot Take: I love this event. On top of being a nerd for Christmas anyways, the park goes all out to make the place look stunning. It's easily the event the park puts the most effort into and I love it. I really don't get the hate - especially since Kevin hinted back in June that more coasters will be open.

Apollo's during CMT is a dream for me.

I wouldn’t mind an update to Heatherdowns. The “O Holy Night” theme was neat when it started, and I really do appreciate the reflective, beautiful aura it creates. But I definitely think theming the entire village to that one song, year after year, has gotten stale. Plus, the blue lights always hurt my eyes.

That said- I have no idea what Heatherdowns’ new theme should be.

away in the manger would be fitting. actually in al seriousness some sort of manger seen around the stables would fit nicely.

I actually disagree about retheming Heatherdowns. The lights are some of my favorites in the park. That area is peaceful and lovely.

That said, I wouldn’t object to some tasteful additions. They added the white hanging globes, and those made the area better, I think,

Personally I think that will be one of the hard things about redoing any area of Christmastown. The park has done such a nice job that any major area retheme is likely going to hit someone's personal favorite spot and trigger cries of oh no fo you dare. Perhaps that is part of why we haven't seen the park make in major changes in a while.

The longer they dont change sections the harder it will be when they do. People espically at the holidays like to see the same things year after year to remind them of special times go by. I do really like almost all of the CT decor but WF is upping the game and BGW will need to so something to keep it fresh and new.

I think the bigger worry is that if they redo an area, is there any chance that it will even be half as good as it was previously? The park's work on the Christmas Town Express last year did not inspire confidence in me at all... ?

Total agree about WF upping the game. Heck is was also impressed with Christmas in the park at SFA it's the lowest rate of the three in my opinion but still brings a lot to the table.

Man, as long as they keep the Wilderness Preserve full of green trees, pine smell and this weird ass version of Greensleeves, I'm good.

Some thing else....the tree at the Festhaus needs a update. Add a new song or something, heck I would volunteer to program something for them. I run the same software and haedware on my home display as that tree.
THIS BUSCH ARE YOU LISTENING TO THIS MAN !!!!
