Just took a look at the park map on the website

Technically it opened, but they aren't actually running it with the whole ride area enclosed so it's sorta dumb. The curtains near the controls position have been wide open and all the lights are on full-blast over there so basically it has just been the normal ride, but slightly dimmer. 😞

So many parks run them fully enclosed with fog, lights, music, etc. No idea why this ended up so half-assed. Maybe there was some sort of safety, permiting, insurance issue, etc they couldn't resolve in time?

Also, the entire building is now completely decorated for Christmas town.

It would be really cool if the park could give us a teacups upgrade for Christmas Town instead. Have the tarps down and have strobes and flashing lights inside with a cool Christmas soundtrack. The area could still be well lit with white Christmas lights and have strands of flashing colored lights.

Something like Cosmotron at Knoebels or Psycho Drome at Canobie for Christmas Town would be badass and it would provide a cool anchor attraction for the area because Pantheon, Pesto and Apollo are all down.
