Can't confirm it myself but saw this posted on a fb group and it appears legitimate. The timing of the removal though is questionable.

Wow. That ride is so fun. Luckily there's another one in Maryland to go enjoy close by but that takes away an incentive of going to Soak City for me.

Their excuse of installing grass to "provide a more lush landscape" just makes me laugh. This explains a lot if this is Kings Dominion's idea of "visually exciting." Lol.

What a casual announcement of the removal of a large noticable ride in the center of the park. Guess this could mean that a waterpark expansion is looming in the next year or so. Hopefully a cool gimmick raft ride to fill this void left by Tornado.

Never expected KD to get a [Defunct Ride] Garden the way CGA and now Dorney got.
