Well they didn't actually have to admit to any wrongdoing. This was basically let's avoid a long lengthy trial where they might win and they might lose.

I'm no lawyer, but I think that's what out of court settlement means...

Sometimes when you settle out of court you admit to wrongdoing but it saves you from paying more by allowing you to avoid a jury awarding damages. Just because you settle out of court doesn't mean that you get to avoid accepting responsibility.

well that is not going to impact the stock in a positive way.
Not sure it's going to impact it all that much. News of a settlement has been out there for a while the fact that the judge approved it and it's over might actually be seen as a positive. Either way more or less old news.
