Plus, parkgoers can expect an update to the current Justice League interactive laser-shooting ride for the 2027 season. The ride will be an entirely new experience, Harhi said, with a new storyline and updated equipment.

The park will have new rides brought in within the next five years. Harhi said he didn’t have details about which rides would be added, and it largely depends on cost.

Enchanted Parks has hired a St. Louis-based design firm, PGAV Destinations, to do a market analysis of the park so the company can better understand what will work at Mid America Adventure.

Six Flags St. Louis had a rough year. New rides, new food, new hours may be coming.

Harhi and his family visited the park this summer and he said he noticed how much blacktop is at the property, which makes the area hotter that it already is.

This was one of my biggest complaints with the park when I visited. Stamped concrete would do wonders here!

This makes me a little sad. I have fond memories of my first trip to Six Flags St Louis as an adult because it was my first trip to a Six Flags Park after becoming an enthusiast, and although the day itself was really miserable (93 degrees during a fright fest Saturday and having to wear a face mask, it was 2020) the few rides I rode like Justice League hold a special place in my heart (even though they have clones of this everywhere). I hope whatever they replace it with is good.

Interesting about Justice League and not the other DC rides

Presumably everything else is just going to be stripped of its DC branding and theming? That's not really an option for Battle for Metropolis, hence this announcement, I assume.

There's still the plausibility that DC branding sticks around everywhere else. The St. Louis Justice League specifically has been in abysmal condition compared to other versions of the attraction, the confirmation is welcome but not unexpected. It's been rumored for a hot minute that this was going to be one of the first major things Enchanted addressed at this park. Could just be specific to this attraction.

So with the statement, will this just be an original version of a superhero dark ride with new names for characters or will this be a new dark ride altogether? Either new system overall or just same system new story?

I imagine it’ll be the same ride system with new ride media. I can’t see Enchanted investing in a completely new ride system for this.
