Went to the first day of Oktoberfest 2026 today.
They had unique food offerings at both the Main Street Pub and the adjacent Primos as well as a food truck with additional themed food.
They also had entertainment by the midway pavilion.
The themeing is okay enough and it was nice to see the area decorated after the absense of the event last year.
As far as food, today I tried the Sauerbraten, Pork Kabob from Main Street Pub and the Bratwurst on Pretzel Bun from the Food Truck.
The Sauerbraten was probably the best dish. The potatoes tasted wine marinated, not sure if they were the same as the regular Main Street ones. The kabobs were really good as well.
Came back later for the food truck and had the Bratwurst on the pretzel bun with beer fried onions and cheese. It was really good. Would've had sauerkraut too but there was some confusion at the register.
Overall, everything was really good. I'll definitely be back a few times through end of October and will be reporting on more of the food.
