It's still a 50'a style maze and the costumes still gave 50's style vibes. Also the term condemned does not fit here at all. Its still infected and should stay that way. What a shame to take a well themed maze and ruin it
Agreed 100%. This "revamped" version of the house is trash. It's just a worse, less thematically consistent, Killarney Diner Infested. The place is still covered in bugs. It's clearly still infested. Nothing about it looks substantially aged, crumbling, condemned, etc. An exterminator character was even still in there Sunday. Pretending this house has been substantively altered in any meaningful way (the claim made when the park adds a tag to the house name) is just completely disingenuous.
This is the worst version yet of a once-great house. Infested already ruined the house by disposing of its fully scripted cast of unique characters. Condemned is just an all-around worse Infested. It's like they're actively trying to ruin what could and should be one of their best houses.
Only thing I see that should be condemned 'round here is current Howl-O-Scream leadership.

Well it was condemned because it got infested, like Zagora Cafe at BGT. Guess we're back to getting the same thing as them every year...
Most all—if not all—of Battle for Eire remains intact beneath the house.
There's no reason for them to spend the time/effort/money to clear out Eire yet. Only happened to DarKastle because they decided they needed way more special event space than working around the sets and ride were allowing.
Killarney diner is unfortunately returning this year. With minimal refurbishments or updates.
My new thoughts are that either they spent too much money on it and cant afford to replace it yet or the park doesn't want to build a new maze here incase they bring back an indoor attraction or a new immersive experience in this location

It isn't being replaced this year because other houses took priority (Monster Manor was an embarrassment and Lost Mines had... an issue). A DInEr replacement may have been up for discussion for this year if Manor and Mines hasn't been forced into retirement.
looks like we got to wait until next year before this gets replaced. Im still a little disappointed that lost mines got replaced before this. I actually like both mazes for different reasons. Killarney is very well themed and I really like it. Im just ready for something new here.

Wow this was chalked full of actors tonight. The number 1 of the night for sure
Plenty of actors but this mazes is stale and does nothing for me anymore can we please just condem it and move on to something new.
