KD Anniversary Street Party

I wanted to post earlier but the Street Party on i-street is still running throughout this week. Saw it a few days ago and the show was much stronger than when it first opened. Choreography was finally complete, subtle blocking and prop changes really added to the overall show.

If you haven’t seen it for whatever reason or saw it earlier in the summer you really should check it out now. Not sure why it has run a full week after the summerbration officially ended, but don’t miss it. Similar to how Light the Night only got better with each week adding more lights and effects. I would say the completion of both shows is a direct result of laying off the entire entertainment department.

Per the KD app, it looks as if the show’s actual closing day is tomorrow, August 9th. Unsure why it didn’t match up with the marketing at all.

I do have to say it’s a fun show! Some odd song picks here and there, but otherwise I like how it is interactive and how the singers talk about the history of the park throughout the show.
