I’m not talking about either of our opinions on the ride. I’m speaking about the absolutely iconic, landmark ride that Nessie is.

Again, it’s not a matter of opinion, it’s the fact that pantheon is a world class ride. I’m not the biggest of Pantherian, but to say claim that Pantherian is anything but a flagship icon would be foolish of me.
Iconic and statment pieces mean 2 diff things. Most iconic rides suck. Iconic means nothing to me. Magnum sucks, comet sucks, lochness sucks ect. If lochness land could he rebuilt on id happily see it be replaced with something new.

Im not saying Pantheon isint world class but I guess i can't explain what I mean. It's all prefrence. Theres nothing I find myself reriding much at busch more than MAYBE 5 times on a good day? Ill just rephrase and say I hope 1 day BG decides to get a ride that fits my wants in a ride to wanna sit there all day and reride it.

I thought InvadR was running just fine when I rode it a month ago. I don't venture to that corner of the park often because most of the park's newer coasters are on the Italy/Germany side.

The first turn definitely needs steel track though. I'm a huge fan of flat turns on wooden coasters, but they wear down pretty fast if maintenance isn't done on it after a certain period of time.

The park did some trackwork during the off season. The turns closest to the train tracks definitely feel smoother than the rest of the ride.

If y'all think InvadR is too rough, y'all definitely won't be able to handle anything at Holiday World lol. It runs way smoother than Voyage, Legend, and Raven did a couple years ago.

All the woodies were really rough when I was there. I was there in 2023 though. I know they did trackwork on Raven and Voyage since then.

Voyage had a nasty pothole right before the third tunnel that would slam you into the left side of the train.

The PA parks spoiled me a lot. Those are the definition of smooth woodies. Hell I thought SFGAm and KD had smoother woodies.

I went in may 1st time and loved it. Mind you raven was a 1 and done. That thing is pretty jank and needs a retrack. Voyage and legend were fantastic though. Re rode them multiple time. Invadr is a 1 and done for me

HW felt like they bit off more than they could chew with their wood coasters when I was there. All 3 woodies had their rough moments.

InvadR was perfectly fine when I rode it. It couldn't have gotten that much rougher in a month. The first turn is the only really bad part of the ride.

Happy to hear that Legend and Voyage are running far better than they were a couple of autumns ago. A friend and I went to check out Holiday World for the first time and the entire wooden coaster lineup was running poorly. Voyage's first 20% was silky smooth and then it was a washboard hell the rest of the way out and back. The nasty pothole @netdvn mentioned above was in full force. Raven and Legend were both bad. Utter shock when contrasted against their reputations. Next time I'll visit closer to the beginning of summer.

With that said, Invadr two days ago was probably the worst I have seen it. I had a good time but I was glad it isn't a particularly fast ride. The turn just before the first drop was particularly hilarious.

the park is very much so struggling in the family flat ride department.
It really isn’t, we just got two family coasters back to back, we have two fairly big areas of the park completely dedicated to kid rides, then you got six more kid flats outside of that… give me my giga! 🫩😭

Outside finnegans the park has no adult/thrilling flats at all

The fact that yall are arguing over whether InvadR is worse or better than the woodies at a park that have primarily woodies/maintenance teams that are actually funded and staffed is wild.

As someone who worked this ride several years ago, we literally had 4 techs for the ride in total. It getting rough does not shock me, at all. But since the ride is still fairly new, I’m not expecting it to leave anytime soon. That flat turn before the stop has always been a bit janky.

Kings Island has a team that can focus on wooden coaster maintenance significantly more as they have 4 separate attractions that are wood based. Holiday World has wooden coasters that are the reason the park is as well known as it is. Their maintenance team is literally set perfectly to maintain their woodies.

BGW never had a wooden coaster until InvadR came around, and the fact they (United parks) didn’t give it a proper team is proof they don’t know what the fuck they’re doing.

If BGW does go that route, I'd honestly like to see them go all the way and straight-up RMC InvadR into something like the first retrofitted Wild MoMoose.
Wild Moose would fit much better into New France than vikings anyway.

I hate InvadR and I always have. There's nothing special about it in the slightest.

InvadR is really fun. I remember riding it for the first time in 2018 and loving it. I lapped it a few times because the line was short. The short, quick bunny hills give really fun airtime and the first drop always throws first time riders off. It's one of my favorite night rides in the park as well.

It may not be as intense as a Mystic Timbers or Thunderhead but it's not really meant to be.

Still holds up. My 70 year old father loves it too. We rode it together about a month ago.
