Just an update, the GreatAdventureHistory.com website has moved hosting, and it appears the migration has been a success!

Please, if anyone runs across any pages with issues (missing pages, missing pictures, etc.) please let me know.

Over time I will be updating links on the pages to point discussions to the new locations on these forums, but that will be an ongoing process.

hello, I wondered when are you going to update the great adventure history site. I love to see more information and maybe find some old videos and maybe old forum topics and theres are some pages that needs to be added or updated (and yes, that includes the haunted castle page and bring back the ale house page since the ale house page is a 404 error page now)

I am trying to get some updates done soon. I'm digging through boxes of stuff trying to find some of my old software discs to re-install things on my new laptop. I really don't want to have to pay for Photoshop and other software we used to build the website again if I can help it.

I believe I MAY still have a cracked version of Photoshop from back when I did graphic design. Just moved yesterday and I’m leaving for a week long vacation today, once I’m back and have a chance to set my PC up I’ll let you know. More than willing to help out in any way I can.

I have the same— just have to find the old disc with the license key written on it!

I love to see the haunted castle page finally made (but I know its going to be hard due to factors like the fire that killed people that brought the attraction down)

More than anything we just don’t have a lot of pictures of the Haunted Castle. The bulk of material out there is the aftermath of the fire— that information is already out there and we specifically wanted to avoid the sensitive parts of the event and dwell on the morbid.

We’ve always planned something about it when we had enough pictures from before the fire, but people rarely took photos inside or outside of it besides the few we have.

ok, since that's out of the question, I love to see some of the pages that redirected you to 404 page returned

hi, I just have this thought, I love to see you address the planned but never built stuff because theres so many stuff that interested me the most: flightboard 5d, cyclone coaster, the performing arts center, Wonders of Natural Phenomena, the waltzer, whale stadium and so much more

My understanding has always been that if there’s not enough to do a full spotlight, it isn’t particularly worthwhile. It’s documented as having existed and that’s what matters for preservation, unless we as a community somehow come across more info/photos/documents to assist in the creation of a spotlight.

Personally, I believe the easiest/best place to start would be updating existing spotlights where things have changed (Rolling Thunder and Kingda Ka’s closures, for example), but of course, wherever GAcoaster chooses to start if and when, I fully support it and, as always, am willing to help in any capacity I can.
