Vacuum pulls air, negative pressure, -psi as to where a blast would be of positive pressure, +psi. The blast systems have nothing to do with the screens.

I know for a fact that the screens are not thin. You can tell just by looking at them. A typical screen of that sort tends to be fairly THICK. They would have to be fairly thick so as to distribute the frame's shape to create a curve. You ought to realize that what you're saying just makes NO SENSE WHATSOEVER. I think it's time to let this one go...

Did I understand that correctly? Hmmmmm

What on earth are you talking about?

It was the head enginerr who told us this and when we were on the tour I could actually hear the vaccums.
Keep in mind that DarKastle employs a rather hefty HVAC system and sound from the duct work is a given.

Should I start another poll? LOL! Who was there for almost the complete construction of the inner portion of DarKastle?

Nobody understands what you're saying man. 26 is a good number.

P.S. that phrase on the end there is about as understood as "Did I understand correctly?"

actually the screens are pretty thin...anyone else ever see the microphones placed directly behind the screens in the piano room scene???? it always bugs me when i see it

Ok, I'm going to have to eat my words. There is some truth to this.

I asked the operations manager that oversees DarKastle and the rest of Oktoberfest and she reported the following:

"He is correct; the concave screens are on a vacuum system to give them their shape. The flat screens are basically that, flat screens on a frame. Hope this helps!"

now this definitely isn't on a generator, and it definitely doesn't cost thousands of dollars each time the power goes out. But they do use a vacuum to flex the screens. I have no Idea why this is, but you can't argue with facts. So while must of the original story was off, the premise was correct.

So maybe i was wrong about the generator but i was correct about the vaccums. Dont doubt someone if you dont know the whole story *cough* swift *cough*. Just saying.

[You were wrong about a whole ton more than that. ~Swiftman]

I wouldn't blame anyone for not believing it. Like I said, it's like a cup with a hole in the bottom. Can't see why they made it that way...
