I volunteered for it in 2021 and 2022 handing out water and candy. And I got a discount ticket for Christmas Town which was my first visit to the event.

Always loved running Christmas Town Dash. Counting this year, I've only missed 3 due to injury. With that said, over the years the bags have gotten less and less and really not worth the price. The shirts used to be a much higher quality winter running shirt now they're much thinner. Used to get a free Christmas Town ticket and a next year single day admission tickets, those are gone for percentage off. My biggest disappointment has been the leg inside the park. Used to get excited hitting the gate in Ireland. They had characters, the smell of pine and just felt fun. Past few years has lost that feel.

That's a shame. My wife ran it a few years ago and we still got the free ticket which we didn't need. We were planning on running it as a family next year, but we may change our minds based off what you said.

I don't run much. Last race I ran was a race in St. Petersburg FL. The bag also sucked there.
