With the LNM renovation all but done, how would you renovate other rides in the park? Can be anything from Pantheon to der Wirbelwind- I'm all ears.

Edit: and what would said renovations consist of?

Pantheon has to be first, there is nothing, it needs all the help it can get, then we have to give Apollo some much needed love, this coaster ranks top 20-50 coaster regularly. If this received a face lift, a more in depth background lore. Along with some on ride theming elements, this a steady world class coaster, then Alpengeist, and vbolt are due for some love. I would almost argue that if the park wanted to take an approach where they finish project 2025 take an off season to just give all the rides some love. Then come back with a major project in 2027, I think fans and members would be fine with “down” year.

Spending money this way breathes new life into the aged, yet relevant attractions in a way that reinforces the great visions the park once had during its "Golden Years." AC needs to "demonstrate" the mythological story that made the coaster possible. Alpengeist has a video story that just needs to be cleaned up for the feel of today. Verbolten needs Jesus Christ himself to get it where it was in April 2012. Pantheon will get nothing I am sure. Griffon with a Griffon Statue like LNM near the base of the 1st drop instead of a COKE AD - just imagine...

Easy stuff with the right focus and attention to detail. I'm of the opinion BGW doesn't need any new coasters until it cares for the great ones it has like it did with LNM. Everything else is fluff until we've reached that point. (Ok, a family coaster in Ireland would be nice...)

Pantheon first.

my vision for Pantheon (wouldn’t be cheap or simple), involving a lot of stone pillars and walls a lot of similarities with Toutatis as an inspiration but without the wood and with accurate looking masonry, natural looking stone walls, pillars and structures

The first section with Minerva would be awesome to coast through a temple and to have dialog from Minerva stating that the riders will be tested and your test begins now! coinciding with the first launch.

The long straight stretch lined with pillars and wall sections. I think the spike needs a stone tunnel at the base that you would pop out of going backwards and it would be top tier to add water in some way for Neptune like the tunnel is popping out of a body of water. Also a possible audio threat from Neptune while at peak of hang time, "I Neptune, will drown you in the depths!"

The top hat would be a mountain to climb like Expedition Everest but it’s Mount Olympus, where you fall or are cast from a "cliff" when going over. Could have another audio clip from Jupiter, "do you think you are worthy to tread on Mount Olympus?"

Some stone walls here or there for the next sections and a temple covering the stall inversion like a Propylaea, Temple would have either chanting or drums maybe both. Possibly a body of water to cross (river styx) possible Charon the ferryman in the water.

More twist and turns with walls and pillars and the ending dialogue from Minerva again as you wait to exit, stating you are not gods but you have done well and good luck on your next adventure. Last portion walled with a worn temple-like structure. Maybe some triumphant music.

Alpengeist:
1)Touch up the snow theming with new paint, maybe some dripping icicles during hot summer days to help cool off the guests.

2) somewhere in the queue, a radio playing the crazy jazzy alpengeist theme along with faux weather reports. I’ve put the link here :

3) the final turn before the brake run become an enclosed cave with chilled fog. At the final brake, a large screen that appears to be ice shows the image of the alpengeist on the other side which roars at guests before hitting the ice which cracks but doesn’t break.

Apollos Chariot:
1)Swap the tent theme for a temple. In the large switch back area make a spot for a large statue of the god Apollo. Various stone carvings in the walls depict Apollo’s myths.

2) one of the statues has to be a goose.

3) in the station, a large ceiling painting depicting Apollo on his chariot and the sun with lighting effects to make the sun glow and shimmer.

4) replace the head chopper tents with temple ruins.

Pantheon:

1) replace the wooden fence walls with weathered stone walls. One before reaching the stairs a wall appears to be a painting but is a screen that comes to life showing the gods and how they will be featured in the ride.

2) the swing launch section should be enclosed in a tunnel with fog and lights to disorient riders.

3) a plaza added on the other side of the ride, allowing for a more scenic location.

Roman Rapids:

add more splash effects in the first half themed to Neptune and other reliefs. Perhaps a bacchus with a pitcher of wine with water coming out.

Escape From Pompeii:
1)add a screen element in the first half with the falling Timbers where you can see through a hole in the wall as Vesuvius begins to erupt.

2) rework the audio system so the statue falling noise and the action are synced up again.

3) before the final drop, have one of those soap suds snow blower machines making it “rain ash”

Verbolten:

1) put something under the first launch so you don’t just see the entry to the ride building just cut off to nothing underneath. Perhaps some faux rock work or greenery.

2) update the lighting package inside

3) new screens and effects for the swirling thingy and the drop section.

4) bring back the old queue video or at least make a new one to better set up that the Black Forest is dangerous.

5) water effects at the bottom of the main drop to splash out as if the cars hit the water.

Invadr:
1)add structures in the middle of the helixes. Maybe one be a crashed Viking ship and the other have a log cabin “burning”

2) add theming to the bridge you go under to better fit the theme.

Tempesto:

1)Rebrand it with new theming to better fit the Roman theming. Maybe name it zephyr or Venti after the wind gods.

2) new paint job the fit with the idea of wind and the sky.

Darkoaster:

1) add a few more props to the ride layout maybe some animatronics.

2) redo the whole clouds and lightning strikes with better technology.

Griffon:

1) add a audio aspect to the top of the hill with a hawk or eagles cry before dropping as if it’s the Griffon.

2) add talon marks through the roof of the load station.

3) the head chopper at the end should receive some shade either by adding fabric over the structure so it looks like the overhang of a building.

4) enclose the brake run with the sound of the griffon on the roof above with some minor effects like a gently shaking items maybe a chandelier with minor lighting effects. Maybe make it the smiths shop since there’s a blacksmiths forge in the extended queue.

I think that covers the majority of the attractions at the park. 😅 I need to find a new hobby.

I would like to see the kids log flume (now Bert & Ernie's Loch Adventure) moved back under Land of the Dragons like it was when I was a kid.

Yep, you can even see parts of the old track if you look hard enough. Most of it is filled with dirt. The best spot I've found is to the left of the old slide exit.

Speaking of…

Land of the dragons needs a big update too. Not just paint but maybe upgrade the kiddie rides a bit more and do they still have that old kids show with the knight and dragon? I think some sort of revitalized version of that would be fun. That way it’s not just sesame that has a kid centered show.

Why did they get rid of the castle O’Sullivan show? Was it just due to money when AB sold the parks? Cause it really is a wasted space

I think that Finnegan's Flyer needs a theming and landscaping package as well as some additional infrastructure to support the ride's accessibility and maintenance.

A wall to block the volume tanks under the platform would help the look of the ride tremendously. Preferably a stone one that matches the towers and wall on that side of the village. Under the platform is a large area that is incredibly underutilized and is accessible by vehicle. It would be nice for employees to have that be storage or work space underneath the ride with the tanks.

Everywhere possible for trees to be planted should be taken advantage of at Finnegan's in the valley. The gravel with the ugly pond is horrible. Let trees take over everywhere that's safe to do so. That area is crucial in the seclusion of Ireland.
