I mean the arrow coasters do look nice. They have a very classic look so I don't blame them... but yeah, a little neglectful at the same time if you ask me.I feel like this is the 3rd or 4th time this year alone the new Six Flags has used a defunct ride in advertising for various parks.
To Think that potentially all 3 of the rides in this picture could be gone by the end of 2025 is insaneSure can't wait to ride Anaconda and Volcano at Kings Dominion!

Yes someone is going to sue for a couple hundred dollars in tickets because Anaconda wasn't there when they arrived. Would they hire some SME to pronounce the value of Anaconda and how critical it is for the KD experience during their court case. That could be some compelling enthusiasts arguments. One of these dorky marketing people they have trying to handle multiple parks are leaving the parks in a very sticky situation if someone wants to play legal games.
Speaking on this topic, sort of related, why the hell can parks never get merch right? They always use rides from different parks on their merch and it looks hideous. For example, I saw a kd grizzly shirt that used a picture of the CGA versionParks have been using coasters that don't belong to them in marketing for probably just about as long as coaster marketing has existed. Should they use rides in marketing that aren't running at the park in question? No. Is it sloppy and cringe? Yeah. Is it a real issue? I don't think so.
Well at least they sort of had the right ride. The Great Escape shirt that I'm wearing right now looks like it has a silhouette of Bluefire on it which is definitely not at TGE or Six Flags or in this country!Speaking on this topic, sort of related, why the hell can parks never get merch right?
