I have sources that work first hand with RMC. There is NOTHING planned for 2024 yet. But keep on dreamin....
Key word being YET. Just because there’s talk of it in the hrs doesn’t mean that they have sent anything to RMC. Duh

I can see an RMC for 2020 but 2024 is way too far down the line for this to be real rofl

I’m more excited about Busch’s 2nd year of GobbleFest, a Thanksgiving event that was a HIT with the masses last year.

I’d honestly love for this to happen.
Also just go the full way and make the whole area a new hamlet in itself.

I just want to say that I think BGW should really focus on "Newkastle" after 2022 because I'm still really bent. It's always sad for me to walk past the building now because it brings back memories. I think the park is doing themselves a big fat L by not utilizing or planning to put a new dark ride in that building. I really think a darkastle spin off or sequel would be a good move.

The darkastle building would make a good station and show building for an S&S launch coaster... just sayin’

I just don't think anything other than a wild mouse coaster will work in that spot given how small the footprint is and how it's essentially boxed in by Alpie, the parking lot that is Cornered, and the guest walkway in Oktoberfest.

Since we're pretty much leaning to fill the vacant "Castle" don't forget this thread exists.

As I posted there (and concur with @lce ) I wanna dark ride. Notably an interactive dark ride. Now most are designed with a lot of projection and very little physical props. Thus, I envision there's actual 3 rides (h/t to Canada's Wonderland).

  1. A fun, family oriented "shooter"'in a whimsical Castle - from open til Sept
  2. DarKastle, Too... scary enough no kiddies - Howl-O-Scream
  3. Santa's Crazy Castle with mice causing mischief - Christmas Town

Simple changes in the programming and some prop/signage changes. If CP can do it in Canada, then BGW can do it.
