2023 Operating Calendar

[Thriller]

Looking through Cedar Fair park schedules, Cedar Point, Kings Island. Carowinds, Canadas Wonderland and even Dorney and Worlds of Fun close at 10 during the summer.

I know it’s just an hour but what’s the reason KD can’t operate like the other CF parks? The Virginia summers can be miserable and the night hours are the most pleasant time of day.

Actually, they're showing 10 PM Friday through Sunday midsummer, yes!

I love the late hours too, but have to admit there are not many people that stay that late -- I used to get rerides and solo rides on Volcano, so I know. Maybe historically some of those other parks do better late, although Dorney has a reputation for light crowds in general, but maybe it's a least more even. The 10 PM Sundays have often been not much different than late weekdays at KD, so that's a score.
