Just drove past KD and there’s a Pantheon billboard at the exit before the park on I-95. Love to see it.

I believe there’s still one in each direction right before the park. It’s such an aggro marketing move—I love it. Amazing that these are the same parks that were partnered on ticket offerings just a few years ago...

So Pantheon construction in Nov and December was moving along at a record pace, even some backstage team members I talked to were commenting on how fast they were progressing. Since then they did have the one incident but other than that weather has been almost the best possible they could have hoped for. So at this point it seems trains are still not onsite and opening day is barely over a month away. Origional speculations were that the ride could possibly be ready near opening day but now I wonder. It would be nice if they went back to opening new rides on opening day like Apollo.

Based on the tour and conversations I had while there, they should be starting commissioning this week or next week and it is an 8-10 week process before turnover to the park. Then 2-3 weeks for the park to 3rd party commission and train. I would expect the ride to open mid-late April.

From what I am hearing from people in the know at the park we are looking at a mid April opening with a soft opening a week before that. Could still change but as I understand they are doing some tweaking along the first launch area. Not sure what that means just what I've been told

Wouldn’t be shocked if it soft opens for passholder preview and then opens to the public early April. They want it open for spring break.

Outside of more technical issues while testing.

Fro. What we were told at the Ace event they can't put the last track pieces in till they finish the work with the crane and that was still on going as of the beginning of week so I am doubtful that we will see it open with the patk.

This is my point, they are running out of time to be ready for all the rumored dates they would like to have it open by. They still have alot of testing to do, I would love to walk in opening day and it be open, that was a possibility at the end of last season with the speed of progress but it seems time is creeping up fast. Im actually suprised as I fully expected to see trains on the track by now.

Does anyone know if they ever installed that missing support segment coming out of the outward-bank? It looked like it was still missing in the pictures from media day.

It looked like there piece was there during the media tour from the pictures I saw. So my guess is that it's there now.

I think hoping it would open because of the quick time to get vertical is a bit optimistic. Considering there is some "first of it's kind' or 'hasn't been used a lot" they wanted as much extra time to test as possible.
