Had a feeling this was the way it was going when Switchback got put up for sale. Super unique ride that deserves a second lease on life (selfishly, hopefully closer to anywhere I’d realistically go lol).

Aside from the usual suspects (Knoebels, IB Parks, etc) for saving the Switchback, I wonder if Wonderland in Amarillo would pick it up? They got some stuff from Astroworld when it closed and are lacking a wooden coaster right now. They are space-constrained but it could work.

Another idea I had was Lost Island. They just bought an RMC and that seems to be working out for them, but this would be a good next step for 2027 (assuming they take 2026 as an off year). As a growing park, this would give them even more clout in the coaster community. It could go next to the SLC along the entrance road.

My selfish wish is for it to go to Family Kingdom, but I don’t know where they’d even put it. I really just wish the park had another noteworthy attraction in addition to Swamp Fox.

The park's main building is completely covered in amusement park related murals that I'm not sure many people are aware of. This isn't all of them as almost every bit of interior wall and ceiling space is painted. I really hope that whatever the building is used for next is able to keep these intact and available for people to view. Otherwise this is pretty easily the biggest loss of the park for me.
