Our next Great Adventure opening day attraction from 1974 is the Yum Yum Palace, one of, if not the most recognized building in the park. No other building reflects Warner LeRoy’s vision for a larger than life fantasy world than the restaurant designed to look like a giant ice cream sundae.

Opening weekend menu. Check out the calorie count on the pizza; the thickness on the upper end of that range must be inconceivable!

Also on offer are a couple of dessert options: Milkshakes ($12.49) and Cake Slices ($10.49).
The options have very nice descriptive adjectives. I'm skeptical... I do wonder if those chicken tenders really "hand breaded" or are they pre-breaded Tyson chicken strips in disguise?? Also, while it's fun to go around a park with a milkshake, that better be a darn good one for over 12 bucks. Hopefully they can bring the prices down a bit.

I suspect the pepperoni slice tops out 850 calories and an extra 0 was added at the end by accident. The slices are pretty massive though (I didn't get a picture of the slices themselves since the place got mobbed quickly after opening and I didn't want to hold anyone up - maybe next time)!

I do think the tenders are genuinely hand breaded. They're on the smaller side, served in lesser portions, and come out one tray at a time. They're also $2 more than the tenders served at other locations.

Wow, if the chicken tenders are actually hand battered, that's a legit upgrade. I like it!

this is so ridiculous im sorry. i know that we just accept theme park pricing but 20 dollars for a basket of chicken tender is insane. going to continue my tradition of getting a hand stamp and going to wawa for lunch.
