This thread is about your guy's unpopular opinions on coaster. Some of mine include Millenium Force being better than Top Thrill Dragster, Outlaw Run being better than Time Traveler, and Hulk being better than Kumba.

By "unpopular" do we mean, "uncommon" or "frowned upon"? Either way:

Unpopular: Not every amusement park attraction is a holy relic that must be preserved. If it's expensive to maintain and/or not a lot of people ride it, yeet it in favor of something new!

Uncommon: Mystic Timbers is good, Phoenix is good, but Ghost Rider and Thunderhead are where it's at.

Uncommon. Mystic Timbers, Ghost Rider, El Toro, Voyage are all amazing woodies. Never got the hype of Phoenix though. Thunderhead for me is a mid tier GCI.

Unpopular: Phoenix isn’t that great.

Uncommon: Disney is a good coaster destination and should do more.

Candymonium is a top tier hyper, Hell Cat at Clementon Park is a decent woodie, Megafobia is worse than Grand National, and Orion is better than Fury.

Outlaw Run is the third best coaster at SDC and although I cannot in good conscience say it's better than it I'd rather ride the new FITH than it.

Green Lantern (NJ) is good fun and not at all uncomfortable, and I'm not the only one who feels that way. There are dozens of us. Dozens!

Orion's incredibly long moment of return-run airtime singlehandedly elevates it into the elite tier of night rides.
Related: Kings Island is an astonishingly great night ride park.
Related: Night rides are the only rides that truly matter.

RMC's negative-banked hilltops and bucking bronco stretches are uninteresting wastes of time, track, and opportunity.

I'm included!

RMC is full of wasted opportunity.

They’ve taken, what 3, dueling coasters now and made them single track. The banks and bucking sections you talk about. Some of the great elements they’ve destroyed and not even attempted to recreate (still pissed about losing Wildcats elevated helix).

I'm tired of all the new coasters. I would like to see new flat rides or some more immersive dark attractions.
Guess I'm in a similar position here too, I'm not sick of coasters I guess but I love flat rides.

Something I'd be very interested in is a company that could make modern versions of classic flat rides. I'm a big fan of Whips, to be honest, and I wish we could get a version with modern parts. Also I am probably the biggest fan of Troikas lol and would love to see a newer version of that too. Not very marketable, but it's something I'd love to see at least!
