Just wondering if any of you keep tabs on the total (or estimate) number of times you've ridden each of BGW's coasters. And do you keep tabs on the most times you've ridden each coaster in one day?

I personally stop counting my total after 2,000 rides but I can say I've ridden BBW, Nessie, Alp and AC several thousand times. I got maybe 1,500 rides on DF. I do keep tabs on Griffon as I'm still working on busting 1,000 rides on it (currently at 742).

The most rides in one day for me was AC back in 1999. I was able to ride 52 times on a Sunday during Spring Break. The park was dead and they were cycling three trains all day. They won't do that now but back then the coaster was new and they were trying to "break-in" the new trains. I even got 15 consecutive rides without getting off. My Alp daily record was 33 rides back in the fall of 1999. My DF record was 30 times back in Spring of 1995. I did 40 on BBW in the Spring of 1993 and 35 on Nessie back in the Summer of 1995. My Griffon record was on media day. I got to picked to attend the early morning event (5 a.m.-9 a.m.) and managed to get 30 rides that day. The best thing about that was we had to be at the park at 3:45 a.m. so it was still very dark out. We actually got to ride before 5 a.m. so my first rides were at night.

I also got to ride Die Wildkatze and Glissade several hundred times but I was a child then and I didn't keep tabs on my counts. I didn't ride Das Kätzchen much.

I keep track of the most I've done in a row (staying on or getting right back in line).

Griffon: 23 times in a row at night during Christmas Town 2009 (about 45 degrees). Stopped when park closed.
Apollo: 25 times in a row during Howl-O-Scream last year with a QuickQueue Unlimited. Stopped when my friend started feeling sick.

Go Apollo... I am surprised that they let you ride 15 time without getting off. Manufacturer (B&M) rules say one cannot ride more than twice in a row without getting off.

^That B&M rule wasn't in place back then. And if it was the parks weren't really enforcing it as I got tons of re-rides without getting off on coasters like AC, Alp, Kumba, Montu and Dueling Dragons (Fire) back in 1999/2000.

Media day for Griffon was an exception because they needed people to ride for all the film crews there.

Yeah the rule was only implemented recently. Most of the time, though, the only ride that STRICTLY enforces it is Nessie (even though it's not a B&M, it's a parkwide rule)

Really? A good friend of mine works on Nessie and we did it five or six times strait without getting off last week. Yes odds are you know the individual.

I don't do a season to season count but more or so a haven't had to get off count as Swift does. BBW got twenty three times for me in October 2002.

Griffon: 14
Alpengeist: 2 (Really don't like that ride)
Apollo's Charriot: 9
Loch Ness Monster: 11

I think I've ridden Alpie more times than any other roller coaster in the park. Howl-O-Scream 09' I rode it so many times before the park closed, I couldn't keep count.

I don't dislike Alpie. I just think it's a bit over rated. It's better than Great Bear at Hershey, but that's about all I can give it. Talon at Dorney and Even Batman at SFGAdv I like better for the ride feel. Alpie has a couple of transitions that feel "Forced." Like the train does not want to go that way but you get jerked there anyway. I think B&M learned how to do better transitions after Alpie. Still, as an overall experience it is great and the theming is beyond cool and extraordinarily detailed.

I know a few people who don't ride Alpengeist because they get headaches from it. Me, I just get a little dizzy. I hate that turn right before the mcbr.

since my 1st time going to BGW last October I have kept track of the coasters. All these were pretty much 1 time on each a trip except for a few times when i was able to do back to back rides without any line. Dont really have time when there with 6 kids, all who are not tall enough for anything other than grovers alpine express

Griffon 17

Apollo 14

Alpengeist 12

Loch Ness Monster 20

Grovers Apline Express 16
