RE: Wizarding World of Harry Potter expansion

From what I've gathered, this is a probable (but yet unconfirmed) layout; imagine the view of the likely entrance to Gringott's when looking down Diagon Alley from the waterfront entrance! (picture of Gringott's included for comparison)

It's all a LOT bigger than it looks...

The building will be larger than Bolt's but not by too much. It will have several show scenes where the vehicle will drop.

This was posted via Screamscape:

General Park News - (10/11/12) I have no way to verify this, but a reader claims to have overheard some Universal management types mentioning something about how the resort was set to make a big announcement on November 1st for something. Could it be Potter, Transformers, or Simpsons?* Spin the Wheel...

Don't know what the announcement could be about the Simpsons. But I would take this with a grain of salt. I just thought it was worth noting

Most likely, yes - if you look at photo 13 (in the upper middle) and 14 (in the upper left) on that link, you can see it's location on the old Amity site... it's exactly where Platform 9 3/4 is on the map I posted here...

Good find!

Since when do you need a 2 park ticket for an e ticket?

It's possible that tickets would be checked before disembarking, causing a round-trip experience for those w/ a single-park admission.

EDIT: (disclaimer) ...but I seriously have no clue.

IMO if they if they made this an experience without letting others on, I would feel that they were being greedy.

How so? It is a business and a genius way of pushing more tickets/high ticket rates. At the end of the day they ARE there to MAKE money, not give stuff away. USF has lost attendance to IoA, this is a surefire way to boost both parks. Families spending several thousands to go to OTown are not going to think twice about a flex ticket nor locals holding APs (or out of town AP holders like me).
