For the curious:
- SkyRide: The cables that operate the system are largely being reinstalled and re-manuvered into position.
- Wild Surge: This ride literally burned itself down, and BGT is trying to rebuild it with a different company. I've seen pictures; not pretty.
- Falcon's Fury: Something with "the new PLC" has been messing with the braking system. Maintenance says that if Intamin let them put back the "old PLC", this wouldn't be a problem, but Intamin wants to fix it themselves and doesn't want the park doing so.

Also, I've heard some quiet mumbling that Serpent, Busch Fliers, Desert Runners, and Hippos of the Nile in Sesame Street Safari of Fun may all end up going to the Virginia park. Additionally, Kiddie Train will be moved from Pantopia over into the Sesame Street land here, replacing Hippos of the Nile.

That SEAS/Moser relationship ain't doing so hot, huh? 😋

Sand Serpent would obviously be the big story here, but all of those other rumored ride shipments make sense too. They'd all make excellent parts donors for some of Williamsburg's aging collection of kiddie attractions.

Updated the Jungala Wikipedia entry, but yeah wild surge is messed up.
I was aware of ride removals but not all of those. I don't see Busch Fliers leaving but going to bird gardens instead, in the area behind the coke theater

Is there any chance we could see the pictures of Wild Surge that you are speaking of? I cannot find any news article about a fire at BGT, much less at Wild Surge. I’d be very interested to know more about this and what the plans are for Jungala and Pantopia…

I do not have the photos myself, I was shown them second hand from someone else. it's got that streaky, black, tarred look to it after a structure burns down
