The simulator attraction has yet to open in the last 3-4 weeks, I think it’s bit the dust at this point, it’s running off one simulator the others are low on parts

It's currently listed on the parks site as down for maintenance. However, it is listed as "until further notice" and wasn't even put on the site until its abrupt closure. While it may very well be that they are just closing it because of money, however, I would like to propose other reasons it may actually be down.

-The majority of the queue is behind walls at the moment, while they could just be restructuring/adding more games near its queue(would make sense because of the outsourcing) I do not think they want such a small queue for a ride that gets guests in waves, from people that rush there after Orca Encounter.
-They may have received a big shipment of parts from the San Diego version of the ride and they want to replace all the parts that can/need to with the new supply. However since there are 3 simulators(all 3 of which I have had the... uhh... pleasure? of riding in the past year) this one kinda seems unlikely, unless they want to work on all three at once and/or fix up the indoor part of the queue as well.

Overall, money is probably a reason it is closed but one would think they would open it on the weekends when the park is busy. This past weekend, the park was pretty busy and I saw many people looking disappointed that the ride wasn't open, and the habitat part was pretty busy. Even Infinity Falls, a ride that WAS scheduled to be down for maintenance until about mid-March has been opening for half the day on weekends. As kind of a mixture of the two things I listed above, they may want the ride to be at least in a better shape when Ice Breaker opens as they may get a larger influx of people.
