Wicked Woods: Ripper Row

Wicked Woods: Ripper Row was the 2nd incarnation of Wicked Woods, a Howl-O-Scream house which debuted in the Royal Preserve Petting Zoo back in 2006. For Howl-O-Scream 2008 the house was moved behind Roman Rapids, a Jack the Ripper themed section was added, and the house was rebranded as Wicked Woods: Ripper Row. The house only lasted one year before being converted to Cursed in 2009.

Anyway, thanks to Shane, I have something to share that you all may find very interesting. Here are the site plans for Wicked Woods: Ripper Row from back in 2008:

Looks like the official submitting path plan for a maze. Exact path, structure location and layout, grade, and emergency routes noted.

What Atlantis said, its basically the blue prints of the maze. Its called a Site Plan.

I love seeing things like this! It is a little hard to read, somewhat like my layout for Curse of Pompeii. I wish it had a more clear map key. Nevertheless it is very interesting.

That would be cool. I love Howl-O-Scream (Williamsburg and Tampa), and I always think it's fun to take a trip down memory lane. They always put so much work into the design of their haunted houses. It would be a shame if all of that hard work was forgotten. Wicked Woods Was definitely no exception.It's a shame that they only kept this version for one year. However, the only reason they got rid of this is because they wanted all new mazes for that season. Sadly, I don't think Kirst lived up to its reputation. Even though almost the entire set was built around the set for Wicked Woods, the atmosphere just wasn't nearly as scary. If you think about it, the only maze that was really brand-new in 2009, was Bitten. It had the least amount of recycled props.

To be honest, the asphalt pathway has basically stayed the same since Wicked Woods from my understanding. So really, these blueprints are very much a rough estimate for Cursed, Fear Fair, and Cut Throat Cove. Considering they all follow a very similar pathway.

That is the second location after the petting zoo. Where CTC is now. Ripper Row was added to the name and the theme was somewhat changed from spooky & dark "Woods", cloaked druids and Spectres to more London-ish and bloody.
