I wasn't sure if I should put this under Forum Games or BGW Special Events.

Anyway, since BGW apparently put out a challenge to guests to have a tomb stone made for them at HOS, SV and I thought it might be fun to get the real park fans to come up with some of their own. (Or maybe tomb stones for dearly departed attractions?)

Anyway, I'd start the ball rolling, but I am much better at writing memoranda than limericks. So, I'd love it is someone else took a stab at this first?

I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates, who said, "... I drank what?"

Thanks NIC yeah let's have fun and write our HOS tombstone. And they should of tombstones of past shows, rides, attractions, I know CEDAR POINT had grave yard markers with their past attractions. They could even put the tombstone for past attractions, shows, rides either in a big graveyard or put it where the attraction was.

I'm thinking of one for me and Nic, or if anyone that doesn't have twitter, post your #HOStombstone and I will submit it for you if you like.

So now to have a great tombstone, guess pick at my brain, and work my fingers to the bone. As I slip upon all this glitter today,so even in death at BGW my ghost still comes here to play.

"Here lies the Wolf that was so big and bad.
Remembering this great ride can at times leave us sad.
We loved your rides at the speed of fright.
If you listen closely you can still hear the howls at night."
I love it Owls R A Hoot! Very nice that would be awesome on a big grave marker with the BBW 's logo. Well done

Not that I would ever get chosen from the park- but I gave it a shot. I'm sure it was a stretch for you guys to think I would put myself in the mix with the BBW.. besides- nothing rhymes with Wolf. That and little red riding hood in the original tales was swallowed whole by the Wolf ... thought it was fitting.

Jack Jack what a lad,
Jack Jack was killarney's big bad.
While crossing the tracks,
He looked back.
A train came, and that was that.
Way too sad Jack won't come back.

Here lies the bones of Jack
Many people thought he was wack
He still appears at Howl-O-Scream
As a tasty pumpkin pie

Ehh.... My rough draft! I didn't give this much thought.

This one is actually really cute! Just need to get the last two lines to rhyme. Yum pumpkin pie! :D

As a pumpkin pie with whipped cream?

Just my suggestion! :p EDIT: Didn't see CK's suggestion. Oops!

Anyway, here is mine:
Here lies dear J0E 1.
All he wanted was to have fun.
He saw a few shows,
Spied an evil eye in a rose,
And away on the train he goes.

Eh... And here is one more:

Here lies the Entertainment Department of old,
Performers with talent and passions of gold,
But it just didn't SHINE,
So it fell next in line,
To Scott's glittery ax--behold!
