If you were the big swinging [insert your own euphemism here] at BGW, what kind of food would you introduce to each hamlet?
My picks:
England
Scotland
Yeah, let's not go there. It's fine the way it is.
Ireland
BRING BACK THE GIANT BAKED POTATOES!!!!!! Thank you!
France
New France
Trappers does the job nicely, but adding these as side dishes would be outstanding
Oktoberfest
Keep the current fare, but add these to the menu:
Italy
One word......LASAGNA!!! They can make TWO kinds, one w/meat and one to satisfy the veggie people. And don't skimp on the cheese or there'll be issues...lol
I'm sure I can think of some others, but I'd love to hear what ya'll have to think about improvements to the menus at each place.
My picks:
England
- Bangers and Mash (Similar to the sausage platter in Germany, but with mashed potatoes & gravy)
- Malt Vinegar for the Fish & Chips
- Heinz Baked Beans as a side dish
Scotland

- Boulliabaise soup in a bread bowl.
- and for crying out loud...WHERE ARE THE CROISSANTS???
- AND GET RID OF THE NACHOS & CHURROS!!! This is FRANCE, not Mexico!
