News Wave Pool Closed Until June 1st

The park announced via Facebook that the wave pool, Surfer's Bay will remain closed until June 1st due to maintenance issues. Does anyone have any info regarding this? What do you all think?

Last time I went I thought it was very dirty and things needed paint. I even posted about it so maybe someone is listening.

Maybe they are converting it inro a state of the art Whirlpool. Wave pools are so last-year.
