Somewhat riffing off @Zachary 's thread on SFA, I want to propose one for a park I'm worried about in Dorney.
Now - as the thread title alludes to - Dorney Park is going to be seeing a split (sorry for the lack of fancy artwork like @Zachary did), where the dry park and water park are split. For the central/eastern PA we either have small water parks (DelGrosso's), landlocked (Hershey), or kids focused (SP/DW).
Much of the current waterpark would stay as is other than thematic upgrades. I would take out Lollipop Lagoon and replace it with a small complex of short slides, remove the current racer slides and speed slides. Where the current speed slide is would be a new racing slide complex with the style of Whitecap Racers down in Hershey, except I would make it taller and longer. Then next to the wave pool in the back of the park I would put a 4 spot racing speed slide with a drop out like Vanishing Point. The current racing slide plot becomes a covered lounging area with screens. This would provide some much needed cooler seating spot on those hot days.
So the biggest change that would come other than spinning off the water park: Thunder Canyon and White Water Landing are part of Mill Chutes Splash Down. Now this would require that the current train ride and Wave Swinger get moved. The train for obvious reasons, but the Wave Swinger moves because that main concourse no longer needs two anchor rides and this becomes an in park gate allowing SF/CF to have a two gate upcharge ticket. North East of Thunder Canyon would go a new, massive, kids play splash pad area.
You would notice that there's some ride types I left out and there's not a lot of expansion space. That's on purpose. White Water Landing is somewhat old, and it's a ride style that's becoming less popular, so the plan is to let it ride out. Then when it does bite the dust, this is where a water coaster would be installed. This allows them the ability to have a future despite looking full. By eventually moving a ton of customer facing restrooms, ability to remove locker rooms, and food stands you can open up so much space along where Talon stands.
So, this is big. And I thought of it from the fact that there's the long rumored villains park for Disney, and I think that a SF/CF merger can beat them to the punch with this and save a dry park because of being pushed out of the market. This would be great as I would take SFGA and make all the DC properties focus on heroes, so these two parks almost create a contrast of a ying and yang of each other.
The entry path would stay the same, renamed to "Rogues Hall" where you can honor all the minor villains that are kinda fun. This would be mostly shops, eateries, and the like. Along with the Carousel and Swings being moved, the Wild Mouse and Kaleidoscope would be moved to make this causeway be ride free.
All of this would require some reworking of current buildings and Talon's queue, but it should open space in the middle. I would leave this generated court yard as a generous space to operate in so you can have a ground level stunt show called Ghuls of Sensei. All in all this is a really small and tight corner of the park that doesn't require anything major in terms of reworking space if you use the correct villains.
The atmosphere would be perfect. Almost too perfect. To add to the tension every now and then, LEXCORP employees dressed in all white would come out and take notes on clipboards, but when spotted would scramble and hide. Then, the once a day show here would be someone that comes out dressed as Lex Luthor to show off his new technologies, which of course backfires and creates Doomsday who goes on a rampage and destroys LEXCORP before running off.
Really back in here It would be more about how you redo landscaping to tie together the different and distinct personalities. Given in the comics that Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are together you can just do a lot of plants that are trees, vines, and hanging with lots of red and black accents. Then as you move to Catwoman's area you get more into a jungle like vibe using variations of the same concept in planting.
Again from a ride perspective, nothing needs to be changed on massive scales. Thunderhawk would stay with a paint job, renamed Parrallax, and would get new cars to look like the head of the parallax to fit the theme. Possessed would get a retheme to Yellow Lantern name and look. Road Rally gets a minor retheme and Dominator gets one as well.
Steel Force would get renamed to Ratchatchers Run. I know Ratcatcher isn't a major villain but this is where the expansion becomes major. Revolution becomes an easy Two-Face make over. With a few Zamperla flats there could be rides for Mr Freeze, Riddler, Zaza.
But I left the big one for last. A dueling woodie roller coaster, with a small jr coaster next two it, called The Three Jokers and it could be really awesome. Especially if RMC does the dueling part where all 3 coasters can be massively different, and how do you do that? In the dueling part, one of them inverts, the other doesn't. That really makes the dueling part super unique. Then with the junior coaster, it would be fun to make a small raptor if you can make it small person capable.

FRONT GATE CHANGE:
There would be a change at the front gate where the carousel would be moved, as well as the first aid building and support building there. First aid would be rebuilt split between the parks and the offices there would be relocated to the other offices. This would put a bigger grand entrance able to handle a two park gate. Unlike the SFA concept, I wouldn't do shops here. Instead I would just make the entrance bigger.WATER PARK AKA MILL CHUTES SPLASH DOWN:
Yes, that is the water parks new name. The entire park would be themed to an abandoned steel mill that has been repurposed to be a water park. With the new placement of all the front gate, you would now be walking in where the wave pool is. To aid in this bottle neck, I would take away the current VIP parking that's there and make it part of the water park. This would be an indoor complex to house first aid, an indoor dining option, and massive locker rooms. In addition, I would do a "VIP Locker Room" that's mor luxury oriented. On top of this building I would put in a big upper level deck with seating, half day rentable cabanas that are basic seating with a cover, full day cabanas with a little nicer seating and some food/drink included, and finally 15 "VIP Cabanas" that have their own private little pools off the back and include all food and drink.Much of the current waterpark would stay as is other than thematic upgrades. I would take out Lollipop Lagoon and replace it with a small complex of short slides, remove the current racer slides and speed slides. DRY PARK - VILLAINS AREA: Formerly Dorney Park

Along with the Carousel and Swings being moved, the Wild Mouse and Kaleidoscope would be moved to make this causeway be ride free.
SHADOW SOCIETY-
Shadow Society would be to the area to the right of Rogues Hall where Talon currently is. Using this somewhat minor villain who gained some notoriety due to Batman Begins and Arrow, Shadow Society would be themed to League of Assassins and Ra's a Ghul. Talon would be rethemed to Lazarus Pit where the tag line is "I know what goes in, no one knows what comes out". Next, I know no one would be able to pronounce, but Dodge Em's would be renamed 'Eth Alth'eban - the sacred city of the Shadow Society in the New 52 line of comics.
LEXCORP -
This would be taking over the current food fest grove/carousel grove area of the park, where Kaleidoscope, Swings, Carousel, Wild Mouse are all relocated to. The concept behind LEXCORP area would be that Lex is building a family friendly park, but behind the scenes something sinister is going on, he's using it as a tool to find the perfect candidates to be transformed into an army of Bizzaro clones. While you ride everything cameras are watching your every move and reaction to find ones without fear.
JUNIOR ROGUES Presented by Peanuts
Keeping Planet Snoopy around, I would just dress all the Peanuts characters in DC Rogues clothes. One as Reverse Flash, Penguin, Gorilla Grodd, The Riddler, Braniac and the like. Basically use villains that aren't major enough to have their own land, they're kid friendly-adjacent, and most importantly it doesn't require massive changes to this area other than signage.GOTHAM CITY SIRENS -
Taking over the back area of the park by Hydra, this park get's it's major rides of Demon Drop, Hydra, and Meteor would be rethemed to Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn respectively. The best part is these rides don't really need to be repainted, they just need new signage. Really you would just need to pull Meteor forward to the current Rita's stand.Really back in here It would be more about how you redo landscaping to tie together the different and distinct personalities. Given in the comics that Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are together you can just do a lot of plants that are trees, vines, and hanging with lots of red and black accents. Then as you move to Catwoman's area you get more into a jungle like vibe using variations of the same concept in planting.
SINESTRO CORPS -
This area would would span from Possessed to Thunderhawk. This would require some major overhauls to the area to transform it. Completely done in yellow tones and very alien in look. This is where I would also take some "typical" foods and dress it up to look completely different from anything you would expect to see.Again from a ride perspective, nothing needs to be changed on massive scales. Thunderhawk would stay with a paint job, renamed Parrallax, and would get new cars to look like the head of the parallax to fit the theme. Possessed would get a retheme to Yellow Lantern name and look. Road Rally gets a minor retheme and Dominator gets one as well.
KAHNDAQ -
This is going to be a small area that's themed to Black Adam taking over Iron Menace and the area down to Cedar Creek. Not knowing what the area will look like I don't want to go too far down the hole of what it would be. But this is an area where there's a first chance of expansion.ARKHAM ASYLUM -
I feel like this is the one that needs to be part of this entire endeavor. This would go from Revolution back. And this is where the initial investment of rides would go to really grow out. First off - the portal to the area - would have a massive gate built in place with a gate. A half hour after opening there would be a show of various Asylum residents being brought in by Batman and Commissioner Gordon. Of course in typical DC ways, something horribly goes wrong with the transfer which allowed the inmates to escape and take over the Asylum.Steel Force would get renamed to Ratchatchers Run.
