So it looks like Adventure Island will be repeating what they did in 2015 with the addition of Colossal Curl and not only cloning Vanish Point from WaterCounty USA but recycling the attraction's name as well.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay said:
Tampa, Fla. (Oct. 10, 2017) – Guests are in for the slide of their lives when Adventure Island® Tampa Bay’s new epic drop slide, Vanish Point®, opens in March 2018.

Inspired by the point on a wave where water and gravity form a perfect partnership, the crest of this 70-foot tower challenges you with two 425 ft. wave paths. Step into one of two skyboxes, and face your fears as the floor disappears beneath you. Or, get horizontal on a 455-foot long slide ending with a high speed finale.

“These unique ride paths give guests options on how they want their thrills delivered,” said Stewart Clark, president of Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay and Adventure Island.  “Whether you choose to have the floor drop from beneath your feet, or race to the bottom on a looped slide, the only way down once you get to the top is a wild ride that gets your heart pumping.”

Located right across the street from Busch Gardens, Adventure Island is the ultimate combination of high-speed thrills and tropical, tranquil surroundings for guests of all ages. Within a soothing Key West atmosphere, guests enjoy slides, corkscrews, water falls, a wave pool, children’s water playground and other family attractions.

Vanish Point will be located at the center of the park next to another family-favorite thrill slide, Colossal Curl™.

Construction on Vanish Point will begin in the coming weeks, and the ride is expected to be completed to kick off the 2018 season for Adventure Island.

So with Aquatica's new WhiteWater project announced, are we positive this is a direct ProSlide clone of Water Country USA's Vanish Point? Seems strange that SEAS would have contracts with both WhiteWater and ProSlide in FL for 2018...
Does WhiteWater do drop slides? NewsPlusNotes indicated that VanishPoint was going to re-use the existing Colossal Curl slide tower, which I think is odd.
Yep, WhiteWater builds water slide drop boxes.

Reusing Colossal Curl's tower is a huge red flag that this won't be a clone. Colossal Curl (AI) has height of 70 feet. Vanish Point (WCUSA) is 75 feet. Sure, five feet can be made up for with some terrain modifications, but that would require that Vanish Point (AI) use the same platform as Colossal Curl (AI) currently does. I don't think that is possible.

There is another issue here too. WCUSA's Vanish Point is not a small slide complex by any means. Look at a map of Adventure Island and check out the area around Colossal Curl. I don't see any remotely viable way to fit a Vanish Point (WCUSA) clone there.
SeaWorld rarely clones AI or WCUSA attractions at any of their Aquatica parks. I wonder if this is just part of keeping their SW and BG water park brands separate. It might be like how in 1999, BGW and SWSA both added hyper coasters, but from different manufacturers. Still, this does seem like a strange move.
They may not be direct clones, but it's pretty damn close. They are recycling the same name on a nearly identical attraction.

I guess the point I was really trying to make in my first post is they are just recycling the same stuff. The two Vanish Points, the (basically) three Colossal Curls, and I guess there is nothing really wrong with that, especially for a water park. It's not like having an identical Batman coaster at  all of your parks.
