Work is quietly underway on what appears to be a brand new project for Universal Studios Hollywood of unknown nature, with a large portion of Avenue I now walled off for ADA access (With construction walls also on the edge of the Mummy Venue). A project trailer has also been installed where the ADA drop-off/pick up is, as it has now since relocated towards nearby Jurassic World: The Ride and Super Nintendo World for the time being.

Trees are being marked, with heavy duty construction equipment also in tow.

look at the land, I guess there's could be a new land (monsters could work since you can incorporate the mummy coaster to that land)

From Universal High, Perera has been awarded the contract for the unknown project.

A well known USH archiver by the name of Cow Missing is seemingly claiming that it is going to be a studio tour compound

so, what's being built on there?, another roller coaster?
No one knows yet. If someone learns something, they'll post it.
Not a coaster.

I've been looking into the project as thorough as I can and I can only primarily share what I can as a result of limitation. The project is a strengthening project for the retaining wall on the hillside, digging into the mountain by a large and considerable amount.

Once finished, they will also be able to use a large portion of the base of the retaining wall area as home to a Utility Events Venue space. Otherwise, this is not directly expanding the park in the near future.
