Been going about in the gambit throughout a few groups; but speculation and theorizing due to recent activities are suggesting that NBCUniversal may be as mentioned in the article above: looking to potentially get back Port Aventura, restoring it in turn to Universal Mediterranea. Also interesting to note, but NBCUniversal has filed a brand new trademark called "HOLLYWOODLAND UNIVERSAL STUDIOS" back in April.

Interestingly enough, that trademark has been used by NBCUniversal prior: for the specific purpose of unbuilt Universal parks in Europe. Germany and France (Which, is going to be important; has been renewed from when it was first filed in 2007).

In addition to the potential Universal UK news @AlexMBush~ just got done sharing in the new thread, things have been heating up around the Universal x PortAventura World rumors as well. Though the thread is in Spanish, from what I gather, Universal Creative has been reregistering a ton of their patents in Spain over the last few months.

It's also been reported elsewhere that the rumors have not really had as much weight to them.

One of the leakers of the Uni UK concept art says PortAventura is a separate, unrelated project that can still happen in parallel with the UK project. 👀
