Interesting. The big question, in my opinion, is how will these themes be represented. Walk-around characters? Food and beverage? Very interested to see how exactly this comes to fruition.
 
They had surveyed people about this at UO a while ago, basically trying to come up with other concepts that could turn into after hours events that make the money like HHN does. It will be interesting to see how this works out.

Good possibility they will try it on the east coast as well. The Florida parks have relatively early closings most nights for corporate buyout events (they make a lot of money on), and filling in between with other paid events would just increase that revenue stream.

The next IP to get specification has been announced--and it seems The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be joining the event with the introduction of Magical Creatures!

USH is going to LA Comic Con with a booth promoting the new after hours event. Additionally from Parker--Pokemon is one of the rumored IP's for the event.

From what I understand, this has been kicked around for a few years now. The way it was pitched to me was "Fandom HHN". So walk-through mazes meant to immerse rather than scare. If that's still the plan, expect something like the stranger things, Beetlejuice, and Ghostbusters houses which bring to life iconic scenes from these franchises.
