I figured I’d start a thread for anyone wanting to give updates on their experiences in the park this year.

Eiffel Tower, Delirium, Drop Tower, White Water Canyon, Backlot Stunt Coaster CLOSED.

A large number of school groups here today. Security lines very long 30-45 minutes to get into the gate at 11am. Side entrance was open with about 20-30 minute wait.

ATTRACTION STATUS:
Eiffel Tower - Fenced off around the elevator area.
Delirium - Some seats missing harnesses.
Grizzly - Open and first 2/3 retracked and smooth, last 1/3 a little rough. Running 2 trains. Wait time peaked around 20-30 minutes.
Twisted Timbers - Only running 1 train. Wait time peaked about 75 minutes or more.
Backlot Stunt Coaster - Closed most of the day. Reopened later in the evening.
Reptilian - 45-60 minute wait. Running 2 trains.
Dominator - Running 2 trains. Wait time peaked around an hour.
Racer 75 - Only running the North track with 2 trains. Wait time peaked around 30-45 minutes.
Apple Zapple - Wait time peaked around 45 minutes.
Bad Apple - Wait time peaked around 30 minutes.
Woodstock Express - Wait time peaked around 45 minutes.
Planet Snoopy - Most rides with modest/normal Saturday wait times. All rides open.
Anaconda - Wait times of 45 minutes observed.
Flight of Fear - Wait peaked around an hour.
Intimidator 305 - Wait time of 15 minutes or less for most of the day.

WWC was open Sunday, although I didn't dare it, so most likely it was at some point Sat. also. The park reported wait for Anaconda is usually exaggerated.

The fire over the tunnel on BLSC was correctly timed for the first time in a long time, although last time I reported that, it immediately went back to going off after the train is gone. Took a second ride, huge flame both times! Non-fire effects were not working, even though the cop cars were flashing lights just a couple weeks ago.

On Sunday Dominator was closed in the morning but opened at some point later. Flight of Fear was closed but we never got back to it later to see if it was open. Backlot was open when we went and seemed to be running all day. The fire effects were working. Reptilian had 3 trains and did not seem to be trimmed. Was pretty awesome. Pretty much the same situation as above for the other coasters. As far as flat rides we only did the antique cars and bumper cars. Wait times were pretty short on Sunday except for Twisted and Tumbili. Tumbili they were not letting you choose which side you want to go to which really sucked. Wait all that time and then be forced onto the side that basically doesn't flip. I wonder if they shouldn't change it so that both sides flip just as much. Not sure why they need to make one side not flip. Surely if you go on this you want to get some flips.

I rode Grizzly 4 times. Once in the next to last row, once kinda in the middle, once in the 2nd row, I believe, and once in the third row from the back. I definitely recommend riding toward the back. It was actually less rough in the last 1/3 of the ride (the mostly unchanged part) and the first drop was amazing there. I loved it except for that one ride toward the front where it did a nasty chatter kinda thing (in the unchanged part) that gave me a headache. I did not get that anywhere else on the train. Certainly hope they finish the GG retracking in the off-season.

KD likes to have all its ride units running by Memorial Day. Avalanche Reptilian, Backlot, and Dominator should either have all 3 trains or have them by this weekend.

Reptilian was running 3 trains?! Awesome!

Ok, I think I was wrong about this. Sorry for the fake news. I remember now that after we rode we were in the shed thing and then right in the station. I don't think there was another train behind us.

One other thing I'll add about my day - Racer 75 was running great, was pretty smooth even on the return trip and was giving good airtime in the front (I only rode it once, and rode front row). However the ops were terrible. I don't really know what was going on. The OPs including the head OP sometimes seemed to be doing nothing but standing/sitting there. Maybe something was going on that I couldn't see. There was one guy with a tablet. Maybe it had to do with whatever they were using that for and I hit it at exactly the wrong time. There also seemed to be times where the OPs were confused about stuff and asking the head OP questions. It was a mess, but at least the ride was really fun. Now only if it were racing again....

On Saturday, the Racer 75 OPs were the best of the day. They were really into it making sure everyone was safe and comfortable with a constant and humorous “cell phones, cell phones, cell phones, cell phones…” bit the announcer was doing. I have nothing but good things to say about Racer’s Saturday crew.

That's good to hear. Most ops were ok on Sunday, but Racer and Twisted weren't the best. Didn't help that Twisted was only running one train as well. Grizzly had pretty efficient ops. I noticed a fair bit of rider does something that isn't allowed and they were allowed to, well, for example, I believe this was on Twisted: A woman brought a water bottle on the ride and they let their companion get back out, drink the water in the bottle, and only then throw the water bottle out, and then get back in the train. I get wanting to be nice to people, but they were nice to one person and maybe not so great to everyone else on the train and in line.
