One of several "world's biggest" claims made by Great Adventure was the "world's largest bumper car ride" the Traffic Jam.
This giant bumper car ride building was built like so many of the park's rides by Schwarzkopf, and was absolutely huge. The ride proved so popular that for the second season a second, even larger one was added.
The ride ran through 1992, and days before the park opened for the 1993 season it was destroyed by the Blizzard of 1993 (31 years ago today, March 14th!).
