I was going through the payment portal today to check prices, and notice the tab at the top "2026 Good Any Day". I was intrigued, and it looks like they're selling day tickets for $45. That's $10 more than parking.
Tickets seem crazy cheap?

Is that crazy cheap, or is parking crazy expensive? I am amazed that people put up with that parking price. European parks tend not to charge much more that 10 Euros to park.
The sort of people they are selling tickets to are budget conscious and plan far ahead. The things that amazes me is no matter how good the advanced ticket deals are, the majority of day tickets sold will be bought within a week of when they are used.
Yeah, but the parking lot experience at KD is like a thrill ride in and of itself- Will a pothole ruin your day? Who knows! You gotta pay for that kind of excitement.
Parking is just something you end up eating if you're not a passholder. When I get tickets to BGW, or frankly any event that price gouges parking, I just mentally include it with the price of tickets to make it palatable.
