I was sent a link today; a very special link. Here is a photo of the Wolf in It's New Home.

Thanks to the National Roller Coaster Museum for honoring my favorite ride and for Busch Gardens for donating it to them.

I do not know if these were posted here yet, but for your emotions, Nora I will make sure they are

Cars arriving at the museum

i will say I never expected to miss it but you have changed how I see that, Nora

I would give anything for a BBW coaster car and sign. Its good they saved it but the onlything is busch should of done something exactly the same. Atleast have a car in a building and the story of it or something.

also i forgot to post this but im releasing a BBW tribute video just takes a little while for youtube to get it right. I said that i would make a better one if i get a good amount of views.

If i could have only hijacked that truck.

You know, I was tempted to secretly sneak into the park and start to build the Wolf from scratch. However, knowing how horrible I am at engineering, it would be a rebuild of the Wolf using Duct Tape and W-D40.

One thing I can guarantee is that as many times as I have ridden the Wolf- I have sat in every seat of every car that ever rode on those red tracks. I was most certainly, at one time, in those cars rolling into the museum.

Thanks for sharing the photo Scoutn. I am glad to have shared my passion of the BBW with you and others.

nora, have i ever mentioned i worked on BBW its final year?....it feels like an honor nowadays ha

I wish I could have gone inside the maintenance area before it was closed; so I envy you. I know- I know....several employees who worked in there mentioned it was the lamest of all the maintenance bays; but still. It was the mysterious Wolf Lair that housed parts and stuff to tinker with! Even if all the maintenance was actually done in the station house, it would have been cool to at least peak inside. Now, it is but storage to several holiday decorations. :(

i have to say your the person i want and hae been working to become a mechanic for BGW, i know that sounded a little creepy.

well nora,

i actually liked the BBW storage area.it was small and cozy haha...cool part about getting to work on BBW was hearing about all the history from maintenance, and getting to be in the que line video..even if it was only up for a few months haha

Vaughn,

Glad you liked the Wolf's Lair! I know I would have! Cool beans that you were in the que line video!! Oh~ speaking of videos...that video of a man running in the woods from a red light was one of the best "pre-scare" videos of a ride that BGW ever had! I wish I could see that again. I asked the park once if they still had it, but never heard back from anyone regarding my request.

(BTW- I actually got to howl in the microphone while waiting for the Big Bad Wolf backseat one time. The man in the booth let me howl after his speech. I was about 10 years old then, so I must have won him over with freckles and cuteness.)

And Balak,

You do not want me working in maintenance. I am NOT mechanically inclined. I could however, give the coasters a FABULOUS new paint job and landscaping. I make things artistically, not mechanically. That is what my husband is good at~engineering. I imagine it, he builds it, then I paint it... we are a great match.

I need to visit this place, I was kinda hoping a whole train and more track would be in the museum but I guess I should just be happy that a part of the Wolf is preserved forever. I wonder what happened to the other cars?

Yeah i was wondering what happened to them too, at first we thought they would build the entire thing, then we thought a whole train, but its just one car?
