The ride in general needs a lot of TLC. So what colors are on that banner in the center? I can't really see them under all that dust. And like half of the lights are out...
They accidentally started up the Christmas loop on the 19th for a minute or two. Guess there not missing out on the chance to advertise for CT.
Was visiting the park the other day and was really unhappy with the looks of things. In need of a fresh paint job and can they please clean the center area..it looks so dirty. Also the operators varied on playing the music or not; and I think it should be played on every ride.
Nice to see that it’s open! When I was at BG about 2 weeks ago, it was closed but the gate was open. I walked over to a seat just to reminisce.
So no one is going to mention how they got new LED lights on it..? From what I heard they had just finished a big refurbishment on it, I believe they said they put a new motor on it as well as the new lights. Unfortunately no blue lights on tradewind for CT this year…
The kids are really bummed about it's current state. Hoping it's just a refurbishment? It's down to the bones.
Off season maintenance it appears- same reason Finnegan’s, elephant run, tempesto, etc are closed.
The Trade Wind was back up and running this weekend
I’m glad it is running again. I’m really enjoying the new LEDs that replaced the incandescents on the central areas
