So, uh, how about that flat ride? Isn't it missing some banners or something we can talk about? :p

The ride in general needs a lot of TLC. So what colors are on that banner in the center? I can't really see them under all that dust. And like half of the lights are out...

Was visiting the park the other day and was really unhappy with the looks of things. In need of a fresh paint job and can they please clean the center area..it looks so dirty. Also the operators varied on playing the music or not; and I think it should be played on every ride.

So no one is going to mention how they got new LED lights on it..? From what I heard they had just finished a big refurbishment on it, I believe they said they put a new motor on it as well as the new lights. Unfortunately no blue lights on tradewind for CT this year…

I finally took on the Shocker Chair in the game area next to the ride. I thought the blood vessels in my wrist were going to burst.

So interesting thing about this attraction. It has a very strict 48 inch height requirement? Even if the child has an adult companion with them? For such a basic ride I don't really see why kids have to bigger than they do for INVADR for a basic spinning ride.

Sorry had a kid with me yesterday who was 47.9999999999999999999999999999999998 (rough estimate the percentage might be off here....) inches tall and holy crap the ops catch that difference and force parents into damage control for the day quick. Older kids under 48 really are kinda painfully limited at BGW as we found out yesterday.

The height restrictions are there because that’s the minimum height for a rider to be safely secured in the restraints. There is only one exception, and I believe it is found on Carousel and Catapult. Children, so long as they can walk, must be accompanied by a supervising companion that meets the ride’s “ride alone” height requirement. For a ride like tradewind, the harnesses aren’t exactly tight fitting, making enforcement of the height requirement even more crucial.
