All the artists that voted it #1 like the amenities like the backstage jacuzzi!
That said, it is a great venue. However, the 9:30 Club blows it away as it gets a better and more diverse line-up of shows.
I didn't even know Gwar was still around. They use to play a lot of local bars here in Norfolk/Va Beach in the late 80s/early 90s. And the last time I saw any of them was in the late 80s when Odorus mud-wrestled a big Richmond drag queen named Dirt Woman at this old college bar called Twisters on Grace Street right near the VCU campus. That was one of the funniest things I've ever seen live!
