The BGW 40th Mystery Sign Revealed!!

Since ParkFans no longer officially covers any park, I will post this here.

As many of you may have noticed there are special signs all around the park at Busch Gardens Williamsburg.  These are for the 40th Anniversary celebration and are a trip down memory lane.  There are supposed to be 40 of them as described by the website.  But alas...there are currently only 39, and 1 of those is, I mean was, left unfinished.  Well, today the sign was completed.  Here it is in all of its glory!  Enjoy!!

I really have to commend Busch Gardens Williamsburg for embracing its history like this. The sign is gorgeous and really does manage to give the once iconic landmark the recognition it deserves. #NeverForget

I caught a glimpse of some concept art of the missing 40th sign. When I get the go-ahead-OK, I will post it later this evening. Shhhhhhhhhhh........

I'm glad the park is recognizing something that occurred in the time period since their real heritage begun: 2010, when Illumights debuted.

Hey, it's still April 1st for another 40 minutes.

CK,  You have a one of kind picture there as yesterday when I was there I went through and took pictures of all of the signs and the mysterious 40th sign of The Purple Thing that you have is not there!  They changed the picture and caption of it.  See the attachment.  I wonder why they did this?
